Ron has been working with APCD as Field Supervisor/Mapper since August 2023. He worked with Cooperative Agriculture Support Services(CASS) for about three years as a field trapper/screener before joining our team. His role here is to Supervise seasonal trappers and assist with mapping. He worked for the Tulare County Agriculture Commissioner’s office in Detection/Quarantine division with the Glassey-Winged Sharpshooter program. He also has worked with his family’s citrus ranch and in commercial citrus with a company based in Exeter for 20 years. Ron went back to school at College of Sequoia’s where his field of study was Agriculture Business Management and was recognized among the top students. His goal here is to maximize his time, knowledge and experience to further establish the trapping program and be a team player and a dependable asset to the agency.
